First of all, lets get this straight. You must be serious about making good money. If your not, this isn’t for you. When most people go into business, they know all about the product or service that they are going to sell. The trouble is they don’t know much about getting it sold. Marketing is basically about people. It’s about knowing human nature and using this knowledge to benefit yourself and others. If you have a business, then you are also a marketing company. Every business is in the business trying to get customers and selling products or services to them. There are only three ways your business can increase sales…

1. You get more customers or visitors to your site

2. Your website is placed on the top 10 of the search engines

3. And your website displays a professional and yet persuasiveness that will catch the visitors eye.

So, there you go- these are basically the three most important that you would need. Here’s the question. How in the world am I going to do that? Well, that’s why I’m here, to help you out.

Step #1 - Your website is nothing if you can’t get customers to your site. That’s why you made a site in the first place. It’s also known as advertisement - because you want that visitor to become a customer and a consumer. Having a website means that it has to be resourceful, contains plenty of information on what your business is, contact information all of that. Keep in mind, if your business is about recruiting people or if its not, keep in mind to never say its a scam. Why? Because it probably is! Your site should also be easy to navigate, nothing too tricky. For certain keywords, you can put a link on it to other information that you would like visitors to know about. The letters should be easy to read and at a good size. Make it user friendly.

Step #2 - I always have "scrubby" (www.scrubtheweb.com) check my meta tags, and to see if its user friendly. Its always a good idea, because if you want to submit to one of the best search engines online, many of them use meta tags. Just to be on the safe side. You can also learn how to generate one if your unsure. Its simple. I’ve always enjoyed writing in forums and discussion boards. Its really great to get advice and you can always put your website in your signature box. The reason why you should put it in your signature box is because, many of them don’t allow affiliate links or advertisements when you post in a topic. There is always sites that are out there that will place your site in the top 10 - but then there’s a fee. Not many of us "average Joes" could afford. The prices vary from $100 to who knows what. Look up the words "search engine placement" on Google.com and see what you find. Another way to get into the top 10 is writing press releases and articles. You can write a press release at www.prweb.com, its free and will get up into the top 10 within 2 weeks. You can also submit articles (just one will do) to several article submission websites. www.ideamarketers.com is also a good article submitter to submit to.

Step #3 - Finally, the very last step that I’ll suggest to you. Your website must and also display a positive yet persuasiveness for viewers. That’s the only possible way to catch your viewers attention. Include eye hitting keywords that will get the viewers attention. Words like FREE, maximize, optimize, testimonials, and anything else in that direction. Include positive and negative feedbacks, a little of both. Otherwise- things aren’t going to sound quite right if its all positive. Be honest with yourself and everybody else. That’s how you make and get profit.

Always remember that TIME and PATIENCE are two main assets that you also have to concentrate on. Businesses these days started out very small centuries ago in order to become big today. Its the same with your business and anyone else’s business. You won’t become rich the next day - unless of course some miracle happened. It’s true though, miracles do happen.
